Hampton Daze Goes Wine Tasting

On Sunday afternoon we headed to the North Fork via stretch limo to experience Long Island Wine Country. Such a great experience!

First stop was Palmer Vineyards in Aquebogue. Palmer has a quaint tasting room and a wonderful outside lawn area to enjoy your vino. We became quick fans of the 2009 Gewurztraminer and the 2009 Pinot Blanc.

Next on the list was Martha Clara Vineyards at the Entenmann's Family Farm in Riverhead. We enjoyed live music, a bustling crowd, a quick bite, and a few delicious glasses of the Brut Rose.

Moving on we headed to Lieb Cellars in Mattituck, which has 50 acres of premium quality vines. We stopped in at the modern tasting room where we quickly fell in love with the spectacular 2009 Pinot Blanc.

Our last stop was to Sherwood House Vineyard in Jamesport. We were all impressed by the chic yet rustic decor as well as the 2007 Blanc de Blanc.
